Our new favorite recipe for garlic scapes!
Roasted Garlic Scapes
Preheat oven to 425F. Chop garlic scapes into 1 inch bits. Toss in a casserole dish with a generous amount of olive oil (I used 2T) and salt (I used ~ 1/4 teaspoon). Roast approximately ten minutes, stirring every five minutes, until the thinnest pieces start to turn brown.
Remove from oven, serve immediately and devour!

We are at the Chapel Hill Farmers Market on Estes Drive in Chapel Hill every Saturday from 8am to noon. This week we will be bringing lots of sprouts and microgreens, garlic butter, jams, and flower and herb plants for your garden.
